2022/2023 Mogul World Cup Season

We are excited to share with you the outstanding achievements of the Australian mogul ski team during the 2023 World Cup season. Each athlete displayed incredible skill and determination on the slopes, earning top results and representing our country with pride.

Highlights from this season includes, Matt Graham's incredible season, winning the gold medal in the Deer Valley singles event and securing the silver medal in the Deer Valley duals event. He also had a fantastic showing at the World Championships in Bakuriani, Georgia earning second place in the singles and third place in the duals. He then followed that up with the final world cup in Almaty, Kazahkstan were he placed second in the singles and third in duals once again claiming second place in the singles standings and third in the overall standings for the season.

 

Jakara Anthony was a dominant force in the first three singles events of the season, winning gold in Ruka, Idre Fjall, and Alpe D'Huez. She also earned a first-place finish alongside Matt Graham in the Deer Valley World Cup event. Her exceptional performances throughout the season earned her a top spot in the overall singles standings claiming her third crystal globe.

 

Cooper Woods had a breakthrough season, achieving his best result in Idre Fjall where he finished in 7th place in the singles event. He also claimed 9th and 11th place at the World Championships, showcasing his potential as an up-and-coming athlete in the sport.

 

Jackson Harvey had a successful debut season, reaching the finals in his first-ever World Cup event. He finished the season in the top 16 in the singles standings, demonstrating his talent and potential for future success. George Murphy also had a notable world cup debut season, making it to his first finals in the duals event at the World Championships and finishing in 14th place. 

 

Overall, the Australian mogul ski team had an exceptional season, with each athlete showcasing their skills and earning top results in various events throughout the World Cup circuit. We are incredibly proud of their achievements and look forward to seeing what they will accomplish in the future.
